The guy filming is the actual locksmith and owner if the van. The idiot is just the idiot doing what comes naturally ….. Being an idiot. Maybe even the village idiot or the state idiot.

Either way we all fell for it until you tipped us off with the rekeying the lock video. I will let you all discover the tip off and you can post it.

    First one who posts wins.

@giljacky Thanks man, I got mine out today (with the help of my illegal alien mexican neighbor) who is a pretty crafty mechanic. We used a 1/16″ hex head, cut short like a pick. He stuck it BEHIND the tab and that fucker popped out like a newborn kitten. I wonder what he did in mexico? That bastard loves Bud Light tho! we were driving across the creek like stuntmen in 10 minutes! this baby has a hell of a 400 in it, I think I will run this motor. Take Care!

@suckmycod Yes I got it. After a little more research I found out that I had to take flat head screwdriver and a hammer and break a little piece of the casting out and while doing so it presses the little switch on the lock cylinder and it slid right out like it fell out of a whore’s loose pussy!

Great video…exactly what I was looking for!

…except that Part 1 stops after you start removing the hazard light switch and Part 2 starts with replacement of the steering wheel. Never got to see how to remove/replace the lock cylinder…bummer.

@ka6pnl Yes, when you use the old pins over and over again you don’t need a new kit

Damn, that sucks! I’ll be sure to keep my kit locked up while driving the van around, I heard of pin kits spilling when left open while rushing to a job!

I have a mini Lab kwikset pin kit. I opened the container upside down! I replaced all of the pins and springs with my tweezers. Just be very careful with your pin kits. Your kit is impressive.

Not if your buying for American Padlocks I’m sure! LAB does sell an assortment of Spool Pins!

I was taught not to use security pins for all chambers! That it was best to use on 2 to 3 chambers at the most! Have to ask Wizwazzle about the difficulty factor though, he is the expert picker in my eyes!
